Coaches Clinics All coaches will be required to attend a Coaches Clinic that has been scheduled by NMJW. The scheduled Clinic will be held on November 21st and 22nd. Our featured clinician will be Mr. Terry Brands, US Olympic Training Coach, Olympic Medalist, Multiple World Champion, Multiple US Natl. Champion and Multiple NCAA Champion. Please see flyer for details. Teams will be allowed 1 coach per 3 wrestlers this upcoming season. Please plan ahead. If you cannot attend the clinic being held on November 21st and 22nd, there will be two other clinics held. This will be it for the season. Coaching Clinic: November 15 Deming High School Cost $20.00 Coaching Clinic: November 30th Rio Grande High School Cost $20.00 Time: 10AM to 1 PM Guest: Mike Moyer 2008/2009 NMJW State Tournament New Mexico Junior Wrestling is happy to announce that the State Tournament will be held in Pojoaque, New Mexico. The Santa Fe Patriots, Los Alamos Jr. Wrestling, and Pojoaque Jr. Wrestling will host the tournament as one. The three teams should be commended for their very thorough proposal submitted to NMJW at the October 23rd board meeting. We are all excited and hope to make this the best State Tournament thus far. The flyer for the State Tournament is already being worked on and will be posted on our website in the coming weeks.
